The second edition of Intersections of the Future will focus on the ways in which art, science, and technology intersect to help us better understand the world around us.

The program will feature artists and cultural professionals from Argentina and Switzerland, with each session diving into topics such as interconnectedness, the invisible vitality of microscopic worlds, and the gaps in our digital narratives of biodiversity. At the same time, it will challenge existing hierarchies and propose new frameworks for collaboration and coexistence.

Through innovative approaches to data, computing, and storytelling, we invite the public to reconsider their role in shaping a more interconnected and balanced future.

All activities are free of charge, with prior registration required.

Special Event in Collaboration with Pro Helvetia

From February 13 to 27, Dominique Koch will present Holobiont Society in our HIFI room.

This video installation explores complex themes of hierarchy, power structures, and coexistence, centering on the ecological concept of the holobiont. First defined by Dr. Lynn Margulis in her 1991 book Symbiosis as a Source of Evolutionary Innovation, the term refers to an assemblage of prokaryotes, each contributing to the function of the whole. In Koch’s film, the holobiont comes to life through scientific imagery of corals, bacteria, and other symbiotic organisms.

The exhibition is open every Thursday in February from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Register via our ticketing platform.
