Sebastián Seifert (Buenos Aires, Argentina) has developed his career at the intersection of interdisciplinary fields, using digital electronic poetics as the medium, concept, and format of his productions. His academic background includes an International Master’s in Media and Interactive Systems from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and ESDI (2002), a Diploma in Multimedia Systems for the Stage at the National University of the Arts (UNA), and studies in Design, Image and Sound at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).
In the field of media art, he has worked on net-art projects, interactive installations, and multimedia performances. He was a curator of these disciplines at the “la Caixa” Foundation (Barcelona) between 2003 and 2011. With his audiovisual music project “Microfeel,” Seifert showcases his transdisciplinary vocation, creating worlds that merge the visual and sonic, blending ambient atmospheres and beats with powerful digital landscapes.
He has participated in festivals such as CTM (DE), MUTEK (ES/AR/MX), SONAR (ES/CL), SZIGET FESTIVAL (HU), ISEA (ES), OFFF (ES), FILE SÃO PAULO (BR), EUFÒNIC (ES), AMURAL (RO), MAPA ART FAIR (AR), and the CÓRDOBA MUSIC BIENNIAL (AR), among others.
